Pumping Chemical Containment Pond Services - Saluda Residency VDOT is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide on-call, as needed pumping, hauling and disposal of wastewater and solid waste (sludge) from chemical holding ponds. The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide on-call, as needed pumping, hauling and disposal of wastewater and solid waste (sludge) from chemical holding ponds located at seven (7) Area Headquarters within Essex, Gloucester, Mathews, King & Queen, Mathews, and Middlesex Counties in the Fredericksburg District/ Saluda Residency. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and supervision to pump, haul and dispose of chloride-contaminated water and debris from holding ponds to an approved dump site described herein. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From date of award through one (1) year. (Renewable) Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Kristy Jeter at Kristy.Jeter@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00pm EST on March 27, 2025.
