The Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center (MPRSC) requests quotes for the removal and replacement of a grease interceptor located outside the building at 170 Oakes Landing Road, Saluda, VA 23149. Contractor will be responsible for: o Removal of old J. R. Smith Model 8475-E grease interceptor. Saw, cut or jackhammer as needed to remove old interceptor. o Removal of any debris as a result of removing old interceptor. o Preparing the area for the new grease interceptor by removing any contaminated dirt or soil left behind as a result of possible old interceptor leaking. o Replacing any soil removed with sand, tampering and re-grading so the new interceptor sits in the ground securely. o Installing new J. R. Smith Model 8475-E. o Setting and leveling new interceptor. RE-plumb inlet and outlet sides and integrate them into the existing and outgoing waste lines. o Filling around the new interceptor with #57 rock to insure compaction. o Preparing the ground to pour concrete back in place. o Pouring concrete back in place. o Grease interceptor must not be out of service for more than two days.
