**As of May 14, 2025, the project was awarded to Lecce Electric Inc, with an awarded amount of $536,100.00.** The project shall include, but is not limited to, replacing the Traffic Signal at the Allegheny Street/Main Street intersection and removing the Traffic Signal at the Allegheny Street/Broad Street intersection. The scope also includes installing associated curb and sidewalk, pavements markings, erosion and sediment control measures, traffic control and all necessary incidental work, appurtenances and site restoration for said construction as set forth in the Project Manual. All work and material must be in accordance with current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Publications 408 and related PennDOT standards and publications. Contractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified in order to bid this project. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Jersey Shore Borough, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Construction Performance and Payment Bonds are required in the amount of one-hundred (100) percent of the Contract as awarded. Bidders are hereby notified that state Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid in accordance with Pennsylvania (PA) law. Bids may be held by the JSB for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
