This project is located in Suisun City,specifically on the following street segments: 1) Blossom Avenue from Pintail Drive to Chryl Way (Asphalt Rubber Cape Seal), including striping from Chryl Way to Railroad Avenue, and 2) Sunset Avenue (Fiberized Micro Surfacing). The work to be performed, in general, consists of supplying all labor, materials, tools, equipment, implements and methods of process to resurface the project street segments with asphalt rubber cape seal on Blossom Avenue and with fiberized micro surfacing on Sunset Avenue, including pavement surface preparation, crack sealing and digout repairs, 3" grind and overlay at specific locations on Sunset Avenue, AC crosswalk stampings on Sunset Avenue, a curb ramp replacement at the intersection of Sunset Avenue and New Railroad Avenue, raising manholes and valve covers to grade, and pavement striping. Blossom Avenue is a route to and from the nearby Suisun Elementary School. To minimize impacts to the school's curriculum, construction activities on this Project shall only be during the summer break/summer school session, starting on June 9, 2025. All punchlist corrective work on Blossom Avenue shall be completed by close of business on August 8, 2025. MANDATORY PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: The successful Contractor will be required to agree to be a party to and be bound by the City of Suisun City Project Labor Agreement (PLA) for this project. The PLA is included in Attachment B of the project specifications. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. For bonding purposes, the Engineers Estimate is $950,000. The successful bidder shall furnish a bid bond, a payment bond and a performance bond, Materials & Labor Bond, and a one-year warranty bond when work is completed. The Contractor and all subcontractors shall possess a valid Suisun City business license prior to start of work. The City of Suisun City reserves the right to postpone the date and time for the opening of proposals at any time prior to the date and time announced in the advertisement. All proposals shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The City of Suisun City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or informality in the bidding
