The City of Chetek will be accepting bid proposals for Sports Complex Fencing at Gotham Pioneer Park Sports Facility in the City of Chetek. The Sports Facility includes six (6) pickleball courts, a multi-purpose tennis court with two (2) youth basketball courts . Qualification and Experience of the Bidder: The City reserves the right to request each bidder to present evidence that they have worked on similar projects. No bids will be considered from bidders who do not provide this information. Bidders must also provide a list of at least 3 references of similar projects they have completed. Delivery: Project must be completed mid summer 2025. Exact dates will be determined at time of the contract being awarded. Specifications for Sports Complex Fencing for City of Chetek Gotham Pioneer Park Sports Facility: Pickleball Courts: Option A) Furnish and install 340' of 8' high chain link fence with 1 - 4' s s gate. Posts are to be of drive construction. Fence is to have a bottom tension wire. Framework is to be 3" ss40 Gate/Corner posts, 2-1/2" ss40 line posts, 1-5/8" ss40 top rail, 7 ga bottom tension wire and 9 ga chain link. Furnish and install 452' of 4' high chain link fence with 2 - 4' ss gates. Posts are to be of drive construction. Fence is to have a bottom tension wire. Framework is to be 3" ss40 Gate/End posts, 2" ss40 line posts, 1-5/8" ss40 top rail, 7 ga bottom tension wire and 9 ga chain link. Option B) Same as A except 10' high instead of the 8' high. Line posts are to be spaced 8' on center instead of the standard 10' on center used in option A. Option C) Furnish and install (6) ground sleeves for pickleball net posts and one post sleeve for tennis net posts (supplied and installed by customer). Ground sleeves are to be ss40 galvanized pipe to match the size of net post purchased by the customer. Sleeves are to be driven 7' below grade. Line posts are to be spaced 8' on center instead of the standard 10' on center used in option D. Option F) Install (6) customer supplied basketball hoop systems.
