The project will upgrade the existing facilities mechanical system. The Scope of Work specific to the required Commissioning Services is attached as Exhibit A. The project delivery method will likely be CM/GC, the solicitation for CM/GC is anticipated to occur in April 2025 with the successful firm scheduled to begin preconstruction services in May 2025. The CxA will become an integral part of the Owner's Project Team with CxA services provided during pre-construction, construction and warranty phases. The CxA will serve as Owner's agent to develop, manage, coordinate and witness commissioning of the mechanical, building controls, and certain plumbing systems of the Project. The CxA must develop a comprehensive understanding of the project relative to the current program/scope, assumptions, constraints and budget. The duration of the CxA's involvement is to be approximately 17 months (May 2025 to November 2026) during design, construction and close out of the project and to perform post-completion commissioning during the warranty period until August 2028.
