The project is expected to be awarded on July 1st, 2025.** The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Site Directions: Manchester Municipal Airport is 2 miles west of Manchester. The proposed improvements associated with this project include: Full depth repair, 1" milling, crack seal/repair, and 2" HMA overlay on Runway 18/36 and new visual runway and displaced threshold markings on Runway 18/36. As an alternate bid, 4" edge drain tiles will be installed toward the north end of the runway. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Manchester. Bids may be held by the City of Manchester, through July 1, 2025, for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as the City of Manchester may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor.
