Project consists of painting existing metal roofing at Big Island Elementary School and Forest Elementary School in Bedford County Work Location:Big Island Elementary School located at 1114 Schooldays Rd., Big Island, VA 24526 & Forest Elementary School located at One Scholar Ln., Forest, VA 24551 A. Work Package: A group of specifications, drawings, and schedules prepared by the design team to describe a portion of the Project Work for pricing, permitting, and construction. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. BASE BID: Provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to prep and paint metal roofing per the contract documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The schedule for the work is as follows: 1. Pre-Bid Meeting: April 9th, 2025, 10:00 am 2. Bid Date: April 23rd, 2025, 2:00 pm 3. Notice of Award: May 1st, 2025 4. Construction Commencement: May 29th 2025 5. Final Completion: July 25th, 2025
