The City of Mount Vernon (City) solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in street asphalt pavement condition assessments, pavement preservation methods used in western Washington, strategic pavement management strategic planning, surveying, and related professional services for the 2025 Pavement Preservation Plan Update project for Mount Vernon, Washington. This project is funded with local transportation funds, including contributions from the City Transportation Benefit District. This project will complete a comprehensive update of street asphalt pavement conditions and develop a new five-year pavement management plan. Major elements of the project scope will include: Collection of in-situ, high quality, imagery-based pavement conditions for all City public streets. Data assessments to develop Pavement Condition Index (PCI) indicators for all City public streets. Analyses and Preparation of a Five-Year Pavement Management Plan and related deliverables.
