**As of June 10, 2025, the project was awarded to Beritus Inc., with an awarded amount of $526,178.40.** The Northfield Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Willow Park, located at 401 Wagner Road. Work will include construction of gazebo, electrical, lighting, concrete paving and foundations. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Northfield Park District. The Northfield Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Northfield Park District. The Northfield Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder utilizes minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The Northfield Park District will award the contract to the lowest most responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the Northfield Park District to be in its best interests. In considering the Bidder's responsibility, the Northfield Park District may evaluate, among other factors, the ability of the Bidder to provide experienced labor sufficient in numbers to timely and properly complete the services, the financial capability of the Bidder, and the performance of the Bidder on other projects. The successful bidder, as determined by the Northfield Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Northfield Park District, (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful Contractor(s), and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Northfield Park District, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. The successful Contractor(s) shall be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and executive orders, including but not limited to those pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
