Site work for a water / sewer project in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project entails the rehabilitation of approximately 19,020 LF of 8-inch, 1,840 LF of 10-inch, 1,110 LF of 12- inch, and 930 LF of 15-inch gravity sewer lines using CIPP. Additionally, it involves the reinstatement and CIPP lining of around 265 active laterals connected to the rehabilitated lines, approximately 90 tap repairs, and approximately 10 point repairs. Further, the project includes the application of spray liner to 910 vertical feet of manholes, replacement of 4 manholes, installation of 9 new manholes, locating and/or raising manholes, adjusting and installing service lateral cleanouts, and adjusting and/or installing new frames and covers. Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities therein.
