Reference Number 0000381845 Bid Intent Not Available Job Location: 7th St & Riverplace Dr and Colorado Blvd & Poudre River Trail Ped Crossing The following project is comprised of two signal installation locations advertised as a primary bid along with an add alternate bid for a possible award of two signalized intersections as Town of Windsor budget allows. All interested parties are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting to learn about the two locations described below: Primary, 7th St & Riverplace Dr Traffic Signal Project (EN-25-004) - The Work of this Contract generally consists of road improvements to 7th Street and Riverplace Drive, constructing a new traffic signal system, and associated minor improvements described in detail in the Contract Documents. Add Alternate, Colorado Boulevard (WCR 13) & Poudre River Trail HAWK Signal - The Work of this Contract consists of the intersection improvements at Colorado Boulevard (WCR 13) at the Poudre River Trail pedestrian crossing, which includes but not limited to, traffic and pedestrian signal pole installation, signing and striping, as indicated in the drawings and specified in the bid specifications. Deadline 04/11/2025 at 5:00 PM MT s are submitted online Yes, s received and answered at the Pre-bid conference and s received in writing (email) to Scott Pearson. No s received after this date will be answered unless the bid date is extended by an addendum. Answers will be compiled and distributed as an addendum, posted to online. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each bidder shall file with his Bid an acceptable Bid Security in the form of a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising from the Work. No Bid may be withdrawn for the period of time after the date Bids are opened, which is specified in the Bid Form. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The decision of the Owner shall be final.. The Work consists of improving the intersection by adding ramps and traffic signals on 7th Street and Riverplace Drive. Specifically, the work includes but is not limited to: Removal of existing pavement, concrete, minor utility structures, traffic signal equipment and unsuitable material; Placing Embankment and Embankment(R40); Roadway section construction consisting of Aggregate Base Course, Hot Mix Asphalt and Concrete Pavement; Concrete flatwork consisting of, Patterned Median Cover, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalks, Bikeway and Gutters; Storm drainage system consisting of Reinforced Concrete Pipe, Inlets, Pond Outlet Structure, and Riprap; Utility work including, Waterline services, fire hydrants laterals, and adjustments or modifications to manholes; A complete new traffic signal system including, dual mast arm signal light pole; Signs, Pavement Markings and Delineator s; Coordination of utility relocations, streetlights and power service. Temporary and permanent Erosion control services and devices including seeding, sod, and landscape restoration items; and all other included and incidental details as indicated in the construction plan drawings and project special provisions listed herein.
