Park Street, Fourth Street, and Evarts Street Utility and Roadway Improvements The Project includes the following Work: The Village of Belleville is completing roadway improvements along Park Street, Fourth Street, and Evarts Street. The project will consist of watermain replacement along Fourth Street and Evarts Street within the project limits. The watermain trenches will be provided with base material and binder pavement. The remaining roadway will be milled and to provide a complete final lift of asphalt throughout the project extents. The work will consist of watermain construction, pavement sawcutting, roadway base construction, asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter spot repairs, erosion control, and restoration. The anticipated substantial completion date is August 15, 2025 and the final completion date is August 29, 2025 for the project proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This project anticipates the use of partial funding from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
