Site work for a water / sewer project in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Rocky Mount, N.C. (City) owns and operates a water distribution system that provides potable water service with and adjacent to the City Limits. The water system is comprised of two pressure zones, with the line between the zones generally located in the northwest portion of the City near Thomas A. Betts Pkwy. The City wishes to connect the two pressure zones as a redundant connection point to improve system resiliency and performance. The most efficient route to perform this connection is to extend the water main from the end of Hurt Drive to the water main at the Deerchase Drive cul-de-sac, spanning approximately 250 linear feet.
