Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Montpelier, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Work associated with proposed improvements is generally described as follows:SCHEDULE A: APRON PAVEMENT MAINTENANCESCHEDULE B: RUNWAY 10-28 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCESCHEDULE C: RUNWAY 16-34 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCEApron Pavement Maintenance consists of crack seal, seal coat, temporary and permanentpaint markings. Approximate quantities include 3,185 LF of crack sealing, 9,620 SY of asphaltsurface treatment, and 545 SF of permanent markings.Runway 10-28 Pavement Maintenance consists of crack seal, seal coat, temporary and per-manent paint markings. Approximate quantities include 5,175 LF of crack sealing, 53,325 SY ofasphalt surface treatment, and 28,150 SF of permanent markings.Runway 16-34 Pavement Maintenance consists of crack seal, seal coat, temporary and per-manent paint markings. Approximate quantities include 45,000 LF of crack sealing, 36,055 SY ofasphalt surface treatment, and 21,105 SF of permanent markings. Bid Guaranty, payable in cash, by cashiers check, certified check or bid bond, of 5 percent ofthe BID AMOUNT is required. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required. Each bidder must supply all the infor-mation required by the Bidding Documents and Specifications.This Public Works Project is financed in part by Federal Aid Funds. No contractor, subcontractor,or specialty contractor shall be required to have a current license as a Contractor in the State ofIdaho in order to submit a bid or proposal on this project; prior to award and execution of the Con-tract, the successful bidder shall secure a Idaho Public Works Contractor’s License.Prospective Contractors are notified that the work under this Contract is funded in part by a grantfrom the Federal Aviation Administration and as such is subject to Executive Order 11246, 41 CFRPart 60-4, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Federal Labor Provisions. The Contrac-tor will be required to comply with all applicable Federal and State Equal Employment OpportunityLaws and Regulations. To be eligible for award, the Contractor must agree to comply with theAffirmative Action Requirements and Minimum Wage Rates identified in the Bidding Documents.This solicitation and any resulting contract are subject to the Buy America requirements of 49USC Section 50101.This solicitation and any resulting contract are subject to the Trade Restriction Clause 49 CFRPart 30 and 49 USC Section 50104. This contract is covered by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.
