The bid will be awarded subsequently at a regular meeting of the School District Board of School Directors within 60 days thereafter. All bids must be plainly marked "REFUSE COLLECTION BID" on the outside of the envelope and directed to the attention of Kurt Rohrbaugh, Director of Business Operations. The work for which the bids are being solicited is the collection and disposal of refuse and recyclables from the School District building facilities, commencing on July 1, 2025 and for the period of three years thereafter, in accordance with the above-noted bid forms and specifications. All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond with corporate surety in the amount of 5% of the total stated bid. The successful bidder will be required to post an acceptable performance bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price for the first year within 20 days after the award has been made by the School District. The School District reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities and the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 60 days after the date set for the opening thereof.
