Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Union City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of June 04, 2025, the project was awarded to XL Excavating, Inc, with an awarded amount of $211,724.39.** Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Work under this Contract involves installation of approximately 490 LF of 48-inch equivalent storm sewer; precast concrete structures; waterline relocation as needed; outfall to south branch of French Creek; and surface restoration including asphalt roadway, concrete curbs and sidewalks and all vegetative areas. Each Bid must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or Bid Bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total maximum Bid Price in accordance with provisions contained in the "Instructions to Bidders" section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to Union City Borough. Contractors must comply with the PA Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates, as specified in the Contract Documents. Except as otherwise expressly permitted by law, no Bidder may withdraw its Bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date of opening. Union City Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to accept or reject any item or combination of items contained in any Bid and to waive any irregularities in conjunction therewith
