As of September 26, 2025, the bid date has changed for this project to October 2, 2025. The bid is for the Renovations for Union Township Building which includes General Construction, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical work. Any inquiry received seven (7) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration. Contractors failing to attend the pre-bid meeting will not be permitted to bid, and if a bid is submitted it will be disqualified. All bids shall be submitted as a lump-sum amount for work under a general contract. Bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after time designated for receipt of bids. The work shall be completed in accordance with the Drawings prepared by Struxures LLC, 3545 at State Route 257, Seneca, PA 16346. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract amount. Contractors will be required to pay a minimum of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates to all workers on these projects. The owner is not required to accept the lowest bid proposal received and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bids.
