The Huffman Independent School District ("HISD" or "District") is seeking qualified vendors to perform a variety of services on the District's behalf relating to materials testing for the District's construction projects. The work will consist of construction materials testing and other professional construction services as assigned by the District. The District wishes to establish a pool of professional service providers to support requirements for construction materials testing services for duration period beginning about May 1, 2025 through May 31, 2026, and may be extended for four (4) years in one (1) year increments unless either party provides notice not to renew thirty (30) days prior to the renewal date. HISD is requesting Responses from qualified vendors to provide the requested services on a task request basis to the District. To meet this ongoing need for services, HISD seeks to award a multi-year pool of qualified vendors. During the term of the award, HISD intends to utilize the awarded vendors as the primary source of material testing; however, HISD reserves the right to contract for these services by other means, at its sole discretion, and HISD may award a project separately from the selected pool of vendors for various projects as determined by HISD in its sole discretion. Questions and their answers will be shared with all RFQ participants. The District, through its duly authorized constituted officials, reserves the right to accept any offer in its entirety or in part, any offer deemed most advantageous to the Huffman Independent School District and to waive any formalities in response process. All Responses submitted in accordance with the requirements of the RFQ shall be considered offers to contract on the terms contained in the Response and in this RFQ and at the price offered by the successful Vendor. The District shall select the firm that they determine is the most qualified. If the District is unable to reach a contract agreement with the selected offeror, the District shall terminate further discussions and proceed to the next offeror in the order of the selection ranking until a contract agreement is reached or all RFQs are rejected. The District intends to award the contract at the Board of Trustees Meeting held at the District's Central Office, 24302 FM 2100, Huffman, TX 77336, at 7:00 PM on MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2025.
