Hargrave High School Electrical Distribution Relocation Project The Huffman Independent School District ("HISD" or "District") is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the Hargrave High School Electrical Distribution Relocation Project described on Attachment D ("the Project") pursuant to Chapter 2269 of the Texas Government Code. Install a new duct back through an existing parking lot to provide a raceway to connect new Center Point terminal pole to existing duct bank at Hargrave High School. Includes demo and patching of paving. The RFCSP provides all information, Drawings and Specifications necessary to prepare and submit a sealed Proposal for consideration and ranking by the Owner. The Owner may select the Proposal that offers the "best value" for the District based on the published selection criteria and weight of criteria, and on its ranking evaluation. As indicated herein, factors other than price will be considered in making this determination. Upon approval of the rankings by the Board of Trustees, the District's representative will attempt to negotiate a contract with the selected Proposer. If the prices proposed are more than the District's budget for the Project, the Owner's representative may discuss with the selected Proposer options for scope or time modifications and any price change associated with the modification. If the representative is unable to reach a contract with the selected Proposer, the representative may formally end negotiations with that Proposer and proceed to the next ranked Proposer in the order of the selection ranking until a contract is reached or all proposals are rejected.
