Site work for a water / sewer project in Kennewick, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will extend 3,000 LF of 36-inch water transmission main from the Zone 1, 19th & Olympia reservoir site east in 19th Ave to Garfield St and extend 2,640 LF of 24-inch north in Olympia St to 10th Ave. These new transmission mains will replace several aging and undersized transmission mains, providing a reliable source of supply into the future. Phase 1 of 4. As of April 2, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2025 and 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
