**As of June 20,2025, the project was awarded to ESF Development LLC, with an awarded amount of $566,013.80.** The project will also include re-construction of sidewalks and pedestrian ramps on all legs. The majority of the signal equipment with long-lead items has been pre-purchased by the City for this contract work. This project involves construction of a new traffic signal at the existing intersection of N. Steptoe St. and W. Arrowhead Ave., converting it from a two-way stop to a four-way signalized intersection. Construction also entails additional channelization on N. Steptoe St. and new channelization on W. Arrowhead Ave. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick. The City of Kennewick reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
