SBCSS is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive general construction services. This includes all necessary labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and any other items required for small construction projects as needed at various sites and administrative buildings across the East Valley, West End, and Desert/Mountain regions of San Bernardino County. RFI DEADLINE: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - 2:00 p.m RFI RESPONSE: Friday, April 4, 2025 Any questions regarding the proposal should be reduced to writing and e-mailed to Maria Aldaco, Procurement Specialist at Bids@sbcss.net No bid security or bid bond will be required for proposal submissions. However, a Performance Bond in the amount of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) will be required from the awarded contractor and must be maintained throughout the contract duration, as determined by the SUPERINTENDENT. This bond must be updated annually for renewal. Additionally, the SUPERINTENDENT reserves the right to request a Labor and Materials Payment Bond from the successful Contractor in the same amount and manner as the Performance Bond. The contract awarded will begin on July 1, 2025, or as soon thereafter as practicable, and continue through and including June 30, 2026. The contract may be extended by mutual written consent. The SUPERINTENDENT may, at its option, renegotiate the contract for up to, but not exceeding, four (4) additional one (1) year periods - may not extend past June 30, 2030.
