Omnitrans requires an Access Control System to replace the existing system at its locations to ensure safety and efficiency in controlling entry points. The goal is to provide a secure and user-friendly system to manage access to the buildings and restricted areas while upgrading the current equipment to current industry standards. Omnitrans is open to on-premises, cloud-based, a combination of on-premises/cloud-based, or a new system/technology Access Control Solution. The Access Control Solution must meet all Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), local, state and other federal rules and regulations governing access control systems.
