Project Description: The County of Marin, Department of Public (DPW) is seeking a qualified contractor to renovate and modify existing office space for the Assessors office located in Room 212 at 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael. The tenant improvement space plan includes the abatement and removal of hazardous materials, new flooring as needed, and construction of interior walls. The project scope also includes painting, electrical, and data, as well as accessibility upgrades. Furniture will be procured under a separate budget. Q & A Deadline 04/04/2025 08:00 PM EDT The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "B" General Building Contractors License at time of bid submittal. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. 1. Removal of asbestos containing material, including portions of Vaughn Wall demountable partitions and asbestos containing resilient floor tile and mastic, per asbestos specifications in Section 028233. 2. Installation of new fixtures and finishes, including but not limited to wood doors and door hardware, millwork, glazing, framing and drywall, resilient floor tile and base, acoustic wall panels, paint, power and signal distribution through underfloor ducts and data/communications cabling through underfloor ducts and above ceiling.
