Project Description: The purpose of this project is to engage a qualified contractor for a professional roof cleaning project to be carried out in strict accordance with the roof manufacturer's guidelines and the design team's specifications. This project aims to thoroughly clean the roof surface and make any necessary repairs, protect its warranty, and ensure it maintains peak condition and appearance. To ensure compliance and quality, we are specifically looking for certified installers or contractors authorized by the roof membrane manufacturer. Bidders must demonstrate expertise in roof cleaning that aligns with the manufacturer's standards, preserving the integrity of the roof. The Engineer's estimate for this project is$1,571,000. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A", "B", or C-39 General Contractors License at the time of bid submittal. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal.The provisions of California Public Contract Code 22300, regarding substitution of securities for monies withheld to ensure performance shall apply to this contract. This project is to be advertised pursuant to Public Contract Code 22037. Pursuant to Section 1773 of the California Labor Code, the general prevailing wage rates for Marin County where the work is to be done have been determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations.
