The Marin Housing Authority (MHA) is a public corporation that provides affordable, safe, and decent housing for low- to moderate-income Marin County, California, residents. MHA is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform comprehensive electrification upgrades for up to four Marin County multifamily properties: Homestead Terrace. 430 Ridge Road, Tiburon, CA 94920 Golden Hinde. 55 Fairfax Street, San Rafael, CA 94901 Casa Nova. 35 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA 94903 Venetia Oaks. 300 Auburn Street, San Rafael, CA 94901 The objective is to transition these properties from fossil fuel-based systems to all-electric systems, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. If you submit a bid, please make sure it conforms with the requirements/ specifications outlined in this document and attachments. Important: Proposers must arrive on time and sign in at each location. Attendance at all four locations is mandatory for proposal eligibility. Late arrivals or failure to attend the full sequence may result in disqualification. Question Submission Deadline:May 29, 2025, 11:59pm All proposals will remain in effect and be legally binding for at least ninety (90) days. Unless otherwise authorized by MHA, the selected consultant must execute an agreement for the services requested within twenty (20) days of the MHA notice of intent to award. If agreement on terms and conditions acceptable to MHA cannot be achieved within that timeframe, or if, after reasonable attempts to negotiate such terms and conditions, it appears that an agreement will not be possible, as determined at MHA's sole discretion, MHA reserves the right to retract any notice of intent to award and proceed with awards to other consultants, or not award at all.
