The City is seeking a qualified general contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete a Blower Replacement at the Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF). Work includes the removal and preservation of blower #1, demolition of associated piping, modification of HVAC ductwork, construction of a new housekeeping pad, installation of pre-purchased equipment, and integration of the new blower into the existing Plant Control System (PCS). Additional tasks include electrical and instrumentation work, insulation installation, commissioning, and the completion of auxiliary structures and systems. The contractor must complete all demolition and installation work as specified, ensuring proper integration of the new blower and appurtenances. They must coordinate with other parties to minimize disruptions to wastewater treatment plant operations, attend required meetings, and adhere to established schedules and deadlines. All construction work must comply with the project’s usage, storage, and access conditions, ensuring a seamless and timely execution. The estimated value of the Deliverables, as further described in Appendix C Section 1, is not to exceed $1,000,000.00 for the full term of any resulting Contract. This amount excludes the approximate $400,000.00 remaining balance designated for the novation of the equipment.
