The City of New Bedford is soliciting proposals from qualified developers for the disposition and development of the former William H. Taylor School located at 620 Brock Avenue, New Bedford, MA, City of New Bedford Assessor's Map 12 Lot 33. Electronic copies of the RFP may be obtained by visiting the City's electronic bidding online. As of February 4, 2026, per owners, this project was a disposition (sale of property). This particular RFP was cancelled and will go back out to bid at a later time. They are currently in the stage of identifying a buyer/developer who will lead the project, so they do not have a preselected designer or GC.
