The work for the MPS project will consist of, but not limited to, the following Installation of temporary plugs in existing piping to isolate the existing main pump station wet well. Installation of temporary bypass pump and piping. Selective demolition of pumps, guide rails, support brackets, base elbows, and associated hardware. Selective demolition of power and control wire to the existing pumps. Surface preparation and recoating of the existing main pump station wet well interior. Purchase and installation of submersible wastewater pumps, pump base elbows, guide rails, support brackets, lift chains and associated hardware. Purchase and installation of instruments and control panel for wastewater pumps. Purchase and installation of power and control wiring for wastewater pumps. Testing and startup of installed equipment. Removal of temporary plugs and bypass pumping equipment at completion of construction. Main Pump Station Rehabilitation Project The work will consist of, but not limited to, the following: installation of temporary plugs in existing piping to isolate the existing main pump station wet well, and temporary bypass pump and piping; selective demolition of pumps, guide rails, support brackets, base elbows, associated hardware, and power and control wire to the existing pumps; surface preparation and recoating of the existing main pump station wet well interior; purchase and installation of submersible wastewater pumps, pump base elbows, guide rails, support brackets, lift chains, associated hardware, and instruments, control panel, power and control wiring for wastewater pumps; and, testing and startup of installed equipment. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
