Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Beloit, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,400-square-foot transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Site Directions: Moritz Memorial Airport, Beloit, KS No prebid meeting. Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Chris Corr, P.E. at 402.458.5056. Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Construct Box Hangar 80' x 80' with Approach and Taxilane. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Unclassified Excavation (2,612 CY); Borrow Excavation (Contractor Furnished Structural Fill) (880 CY); KDOT 502 - 6" Concrete Pavement (1,209 SY); 6" Aggregate Base Course (1,259 SY); Trench Drain with Wingwalls; Construction of Pre-Engineered Metal Hangar (80' x 80'), including 1 Aircraft Door 70'-0" x 18'-0" Clear Opening (Bifold Door or Free Standing Hydraulic Door); Exterior Walk Doors, and Miscellaneous Appurtenances (LS); 6" Reinforced Concrete Floor and Footings Hangar Electrical System, Hangar Heating System with Gas Service; Hangar Electrical System; Seeding and Erosion Control. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 1.71% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53.
