Site work for a civil project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of control valve between Pearl Harbor 285' and Metro 180' system, and all appurtenant work. A. The Kaahumanu Wells station pumps water into the Metropolitan 180' West system. The Metropolitan 180' West water system services commercial and residential areas in downtown Honolulu, Waikiki, Kapahulu, McCully, and Kalihi. The project requires installation of an above ground pipe and valve interconnection between the Pearl Harbor 285' system and the Metropolitan 180' water system. The aboveground interconnection will include a Pressure Reducing / Pressure Sustaining control valve, isolation valves, and flow measurement capabilities. The control valves and flow measurement should be connected to SCADA. Connection to the existing Metropolitan 180' shall be on the existing 12-inch main onsite, and connection to the Pearl Harbor 285' system shall be on the existing 8-inch interconnection after it enters the site. B. The scope of work identified in this section is the minimum required experience as it pertains to the contractor questionnaire in the Bid Solicitation: a. Construction of a potable water facility (pumping station or reservoir), including below grade and above grade pipes, fittings, and valves. 2. CONSTRUCTION COST: The estimated construction cost is between: $500,000 to $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
