The scope of the project shall consist of but is not limited to the following: The removal and installation of air handling units located in the basement mechanical room of the Biomedical Sciences Building. Work also includes the removal and replacement of fresh air grilles and filter racks located on the ground and second floors, selective demolition, and other miscellaneous related items The deadline to submit requests for clarification of the requirements of this RFP, Part 1 is on April 21, 2025. All clarification requests shall be submitted via Online. Start of Service Date: 10/01/2025 End of Service Date: 10/01/2026 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Attached are the pre-final plans for this project. The scope of the project will consist of but is not limited to the following: • Removal of the six (6) existing air handling units located in the basement mechanical room of the Biomedical Sciences Building. Includes removal of associated ductwork, chilled water and condensate drain piping, insulation, electrical circuits, VFDs, EMCS Controls, etc. • Installation of seven (7) new air handling units located in the basement mechanical room of the Biomedical Sciences Building. Includes installation of new ductwork, chilled water and condensate drain piping, insulation, electrical circuits, VFDs, EMCS Controls, etc. • Removal and replacement of eight (8) existing fresh air grilles and filter racks located on the ground and second floors of the Biomedical Sciences Building • Concrete work • Abatement of Hazardous Materials • Selective demolition and replacement of walls, partitions, doors, etc. • Patching and painting of surfaces affected by work • Removal and reinstallation of existing duct smoke detectors • Testing, Adjusting and Balancing work
