Site work for a civil project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority is procuring a FRP intake and discharge pipeline segments for a Goulds 200 hp 3409/L 14x18-23 pump at our 55" pump station. The procurement will include FRP riser piping, elbow and eccentric reducer on the suction side of the pump. In addition, we will need an eccentric reducer and spool piece on the discharge side of the pump. The suction side of the pump will require the pieces to perform close to full vacuum (29.92" Hg). The discharge side will require the pieces to perform at a pressure of >50 psig (pump shutoff head). Attached plans from Makai Ocean engineering that outlines the current FRP piping we have installed at our pump station.
