Bids on a General Contract for the renovation of an aircraft hangar. The project scope will include new roofing, exterior paint, HVAC, Facia Board replacement, electrical clean up, LED lighting installation, and exterior paint. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Electrical Clean up will include: Removal of all light fixtures and fluorescent bulbs in the hangar area and rewire all switches in locations specified by airport management. Put the entire building on 1 electrical meter and clean up unnecessary and old wiring throughout the building. Window and door replacement will include: Replacement of all windows with store front double pained windows, and the replacement of the glass front door with a six panel steel door to be painted blue to match the roof and trim. HVAC installation: installation of an A/C unit and air handler unit in the Northern most wing of the building. Duct work is already present. Roof Replacement: Installation of a new roof and trim throughout the building to match the color of the blue terminal building roof. The Roof installation will also include new insulation. Facia Board replacement: Facia boards around the entire building will be replaced with the same colored steel as the roof and trim. Exterior Paint: All surfaces that were not covered with new steel siding will be painted (color is to be determined).
