Site work for a road / highway in Ravenna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The proposed work under this Contract consists of approximately 29 pass miles of pavement striping, various painted pavement markings throughout the City, removal of pavement markings, and downtown striping. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety in an amount as allowed by Treasury Circular 570. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the wage rates for Public Improvements in Portage County and in the City of Ravenna, Ohio as determined by the State Prevailing Wages for this work. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each bid shall contain the full name of every person or company interested and shall be accompanied by a bid bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) or certified check drawn upon a solvent bank in the State of Ohio equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid.
