Renovation of a medical facility in Delta, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The project area will encompass the former Medical Imaging (MI) department, which is 284sm in area. The feasibility study has showed the layout of the endoscopy suite with all the necessary support spaces required for improved operations. Located at 5800 Mountain View Blvd, Delta Hospital Endoscopy Department provides endoscopy procedures to well over 3,000 patients within the North and South Delta and surrounding regions. TIMELINE: Request for Expressions is underway for Proponents who are interested in responding to a detailed Request for Proposal for Prime/Architectural Services for the Delta Hospital Endoscopy Expansion Project. At this stage of the study, the preferred procurement approach is not yet determined. This engagement includes project initiation to Schematic Design (SD) development, to Detailed Design (DD) development, to project closeout, including permitting, tender period, and construction administration. Further update in summer 2025, pending selection of a preferred proponent. *To: All architectural firms prequalified by the Health Authorities for acute care projects greater than $1M.
