This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in South Bend, Washington. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
. The successful bidder shall provide the entire range of services, including delivery, necessary to provide those materials to the County. The purpose of this Call for Bids is for the procurement of rock and gravel for use by Pacific County beginning May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026. In accordance with RCW36.32.256, the County reserves the right to award the bid to more than one vendor, per item, when hauling distance is a factor in procurement prices. A purchasing contract, or a series of contracts, including the required Pacific County contract clauses (available on request), will be entered into for purchases totaling over $25,000 per year. The County Representative, when making purchases, will consider Price, Quality and Availability of the product. Pacific County requires materials of the highest quality available. To provide a standard for comparisons on required delivered items, unless otherwise indicated by the bid specifications for the individual items, suppliers are to quote a delivered price to the North County Shop at 108 2nd St in Raymond and/or the South County Shop at 3182nd St NE in Long Beach. The County agrees to be billed for additional freight charges for deliveries made to any additional locations. Potential suppliers may deliver a product in their own trucks and present an all-inclusive invoice, effectively showing the delivered price. Other potential suppliers may have the product delivered by common carrier. Suppliers using common carriers must pay all the freight invoices, so essentially, they must incorporate product and freight charges in one all-inclusive bid price. All chip rock sources within Pacific County must be legally permitted and in compliance with all the provisions of the Pacific County Zoning Ordinance and any other applicable regulations. Upon request, vendor will be required to submit, within 24 hours, proof of compliance with Pacific County Zoning Ordinance requirements.
