A. Project Location 1. 260 Grove Street Waltham, MA 02451 B. Building Description: 260 Grove Street is owned by the City of Waltham and currently houses the City's Archives and Records Center. The second floor is occupied by the Waltham Historical Society. C. General: Work includes removal of the existing slate roofing and related components, new slate roofing and related components, an EPDM overlay on a portion of the flat roof and masonry repairs to an existing chimney. D. Particular Project Requirements: The Scope of Work includes: 1. Removal of existing slate roofing and underlayment 2. Removal of existing roof underlayment material to expose existing wood decking 3. Removal of existing copper ridge flashings 4. Removal of existing copper valley flashings 5. Removal of existing snow rails and wire guards 6. Removal of damaged copper gutter 7. Removal of damaged and deteriorated wood facias boar ds and soffit 8. Cleaning of existing clay brick masonry and concrete cap 9. Repair of damaged concrete chimney cap 10. Repointing of clay brick masonry 11. New roofing underlayment 12. New EPDM roofing membrane adhered to existing EPDM membrane adjacent to slate roof 13. Provide new copper valley flashings 14. Provide new slate roofing 15. Provide new copper ridge flashings 16. Reconstruct and repair damaged wood fascia and soffits 17. Paint existing wood fascia and soffit 18. Provide new copper gutter sections 19. Provide new snow fencing 20.
