Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work to be performed under this invitation for bid and resulting contract (the Contractî consists of providing all equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary to construct the project as detailed in the Bid Form (the Project), and specified herein (the Work). The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following major items: 1. Procurement and installation of the quantity of plant species as listed in the Plant Schedule Table. See Landscape Plans in the Appendix. 2. Construction of 4 Sidewalk as detailed in the Appendix. 3. Procurement of trash receptacles and benches. Style is referenced in the Landscape Plans in the Appendix. 4. Waterline: Run 1 waterline from new water meter to proposed yard hydrant location. As part of the waterline bid item, the contractor will coordinate tap with Boone County Water District. The scope of work includes pocket park construction at the northwest corner of the Mount Zion Road (KY 536) and Sycamore Drive (eastern intersection) in the City of Union. This site has been cleared and graded. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The scope of work includes tree and plant installation, yard hydrant installation, and sidewalk construction at 1565 Sycamore Drive in the City of Union. The City of Union (OWNER) reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. OWNERS reserve the right to negotiate with apparent successful bidder as necessary to meet the needs of OWNER The City of Union will receive Sealed Bids for the Union 2025 Pocket Park #1 Project.
