Question Deadline 05/22/2025 at 4:00 PM ET This project involves the procurement and delivery of an 8-Unit Fully Nested T-Hangar. The 8-Unit Fully Nested T-Hangar measures 189-feet by 50-52-feet. See the Technical Specifications for additional requirements. Delivery shall occur at the Ocean City Municipal Airport. In the event it is found that any worker, employed by the Contractor or any subcontractor has been paid a rate of wages less than the prevailing wage required to be paid for any of the trades and locality, the City may terminate the Contractor's or subcontractor's right to proceed with the work, or such part of the work as to which there has been a failure to pay required wages and prosecute the work to completion. Bidders shall be required to submit with the bid proposal an electronic bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00 dollars, payable unconditionally to the City. When submitting an electronic Bid Bond, it shall contain Power of Attorney for full amount of Bid Bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the City. The successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one-hundred (100%) percent of the acceptable bid proposal as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The City reserves the right to charge the Contractor the amounts as stated in the technical specifications, for each day the materials, supplies or services are not delivered in accordance with the delivery and/or work completion schedule.
