Sealed proposals will be received by the City Engineer or his designee of Niagara Falls, New York, at his officelocated at 745 Main Street, Room 303, in said City not later than 2:00 PM, on Thursday April 17, 2025, at whichtime they will be publicly opened and read for the following project:2025 DRAINAGE STRUCTURE REPLACEMENT & REPAIR PROJECT(VARIOUS LOCATIONS)in the City of Niagara Falls, NYEach bidder must include with his bid, a certified check or bid bond, payable to the order of the City ofNiagara Falls, in the amount of not less than FIVE (5) PERCENT of the price bid, subject to the conditions in theInstructions to Bidders.The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, inform and substance, and with sureties approved by the City Corporation Counsel, in the amount of not lessthan ONE HUNDRED (100) PERCENTUM of the total amount of the accepted proposal.All proposals must be made on blank forms, which together with other requirements, may be obtained in theOffice of the City Engineer.Contractor is required to complete the Insurance Information Form, Performance and Payment BondInformation Form, and other documentation specified in the Instructions to Bidders, when submitting aproposal.The City Administrator reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities.Copies of the set of bid documents, drawings, and specifications may be obtained from the Office of the CityEngineer upon deposit of $50.00 (CHECK ONLY) for each set.The deposit is not refundable to non-bidders unless they are returned prior to the bid date and time.
