Site work for a water / sewer project in Burlington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of approximately 5,200 LF of 10" AC water main with 24" cement lined ductile iron main along Middlesex Tnpk from Adams St to Burlington Mall Rd, including valves, hydrants, services, appurtenances, and restoration. Installation of 800 LF of 16-inch cement lined DI water main on Burlington Mall Rd from the Middlesex Tnpk intersection to Great Meadow Rd, including valves, hydrants, services, appurtenances, and restoration. Replacement of a 16" butterfly valve at 121 Middlesex Tnpk, including appurtenances and restoration. Construction of below grade venturi flow meter and flow control vaults on Adams St for water distribution interconnection with Lexington. Vault work to be completed prior to water main installation. Work to be completed within 530 calendar days. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
