Deadline for Submittal of Questions or Requests for Clarification 2:00 pm Pacific Time 3/10/2026 LADWP's Responses to Received Questions and Request for Clarifications posted to eRSP 2:00 pm Pacific Time 3/17/2026 Proposal Review Completion May 2026 Clarification and/or Negotiation Period June 2026 - August 2026 Notice of Intent to Award September 2026 Recommendation of Award to the Board of Water and Power Commissioners December 2026 The Contractor shall provide engineering, procurement, construction, and demolition services for the Haynes Generating Station (HnGS) Unit 8 Cooling System Retrofit Project. The Contractor shall demolish the existing Once-Through-Cooling (OTC) infrastructure, construct and install a cooling tower, install an additional outside station service transformer, modernize the stormwater and wastewater systems, and perform various additions and betterments at HnGS. Project activities shall allow HnGS to continue normal operations following the cease of operation of OTC. Haynes Generating Station Unit 8 Recycled Water Cooling System Retrofit. The duration of the contract is expected to be five (5) years with the budget range of $210,000,000 to $235,000,000. LADWP intends to award one agreement. This Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 90833R1 sets forth the requirements as follows
