The Laramie Police Department is seeking qualified firms to provide enforcement solutions for timed on-street parking. Items under general consideration for this project include, but are not limited to, AI-powered cameras to assess time parked in parking spots, digital ticketing, with minimal manpower requirements and impacts. The objectives of this project include providing a parking enforcement solution for 2-hour limited parking, utilizing modern technology, such as AI software with installed cameras that can monitor the given parking area and provide real-time parking information. The solution must have the ability to issue legally defendable electronic citations for overtime parking. The selected firm for this project will be required to provide a trial period on a small scale to ensure the solution is appropriate for our operations. This project will be managed by a project team led by the Laramie Police Department.
