Site work for a mixed-use development in Collins, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility; and water / sewer project.

The Work shall be performed under a single contract, and shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Flushing, Pressure Testing, Disinfecting, and Bacteriological Sampling of a 4,000 linear foot 12 HDPE waterline already installed. The waterline is situated between the Collins Correctional Facility on Middle Road and is installed along the east side of US Rte. 62 to the intersection with Collins Road. Upon completion of the waterline testing, the Contractor shall proceed with completing an interconnection between the 12 HDPE waterline and a 10 ductile iron waterline. Construction will also involve the installation of 10x10 tapping sleeve and valve, 12x10 reducer, and a section of 10 C900 PVC, tracer wire, at grade traffic rated tracer wire box, and backfill/restoration. A work permit will be necessary with NYSDOT, this will be coordinated with the Engineer. Coordination will be required with Collins Correctional Facility staff, but check-in protocols should not be required. The water treatment plant is located outside the fencing on the correctional facility. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid made payable to the Town of Collins.
