Brookhurst North of Lincoln Avenue Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project The work to be done consists of sewer improvements in Brookhurst Street north of Lincoln Avenue in the City of Anaheim. Sewer flow will be rerouted to eliminate the existing inverted siphon by extending the westerly sewer main south towards Lincoln Avenue. The existing 8" sewer main that crosses from west to east will be abandoned including the existing siphon. This work also includes the removal and replacement of a sag along the westerly sewer main as shown on the plans. In addition to the work described above, the following scope items are typical: sewer pipeline removal, disposal and abandonment; sewer manhole removal, disposal, abandonment, modification, and construction; connection of existing service laterals to the proposed sewer pipeline; sewer bypassing to maintain sewer service; testing of sewer main; trench restoration; sheeting, shoring, and bracing; grind and cap paving, median curb and gutter and stamped concrete removal and replacement; traffic signal inductive loop replacement; traffic stripping replacement; traffic control; implementation of a Water Pollution Control Program and Best Management Practices; and all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and delineated in the specifications.
