The City of La Crosse is seeking to select an Engineering Firm to enter into a two-party agreement for a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Project under State/Municipal Agreement for Highway Improvement Projects. The project is a 2-party agreement with the City to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for Avon Street, from St. Cloud St to Moore St. Design services are funded 100% by the City. Construction will be funded 80/20 with the State of Wisconsin DOT, as part of the State TAP program. Therefore, design work is subject to all pertinent program requirements. A Firm must understand and be able to meet the requirements of the TAP Program is a critical component of this project and large portion of the selection criteria being evaluated. The goal is to meet the City Bid Letting schedule for a February Bid in 2027. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
