**As of April 24, 2025, the project was awarded to Fowler & Hammer, Inc., with an awarded amount of $121,224.51.** This project consists of reconstructing 1 blocks of existing streets on 28th Street between Ward and Lincoln Avenues , including sanitary and storm replacements. Items to bid include approximately 2 sewer manholes complete, 3 CB complete, 455 lineal feet of storm and sanitary sewer, 800 lineal feet of curb and gutter, 2200 square feet of concrete flatwork. Other items necessary to complete the project. The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same now on file with the Engineering Department for the inspection of bidders and in accordance with the prepared form of contract and bond also on file with said Engineering Department. Pre-Qualification: Yes No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be on file with the City of La Crosse. If not upto-date, new paperwork shall be submitted electronically to the Director of Finance, via email at: apvendors@cityoflacrosse.org. The subject line shall be "Bidder's Proof." New submittals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday one week prior to bid , showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract. The Notice to Contractors, the Information to Bidders, the Bid Proposal, the Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, Bid Bond and list of Subcontractors, the Performance-Payment Bond, the General Conditions, Specifications, Plans, Addenda (if any), and all ordinances of the City applicable to this contract shall be considered a part of the contract. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed by October 1 st, 2025.
