Work consists of civil, mechanical, and electrical scope to repair/install butterfly isolation valves, slide gates, appurtenant equipment, instrumentation (flowmeters, level transducers), and pulling new electrical lines. The project includes: Civil/Site Work Remove/salvage existing valve box Excavation to expose piping; backfill, minor grading, compaction Installation of new concrete equipment pad with bollards Bypassing, as necessary Mechanical/Piping: Remove the existing isolation valve on the existing well influent line Installation of new 12" isolation valve on the existing well influent line Installation of new 24" isolation valve at the existing Kaua'i Lagoons Irrigation Pond outfall line Installation of new 18" slide gate in the overflow box Electrical Remove existing flowmeter, well level sensor, and pond float switch Replace with new magnetic flow meter, well level transducer, and level transducer, and connect to County's existing SCADA system. Pull new wires between IOC-5 and SCADA handhole in the vicinity of Well 2.
